Pick A Bouquet!

at Saugerties Organic Gardens

From May to October we will be open as usual, sun up to sun down every day,  with many beautiful varieties of florist grade flowers to pick from. Peonies are available in May and June. Dahlias and other flowers are available July until frost.

To participate in our Pick-A-Bouquet, visit our gardens at 64 Rt 32A, Saugerties, NY and stop by our Flower Cottage, located in the parking lot, and identified with a beautiful "Pick-A-Bouquet" mural on the side facing the road. Choose a vase or flower sleeve, water and cutter. Enjoy the environment, the blue birds and butterflies. Pick and bouquet and make a donation to support the garden and the future of our Pick a Bouquet. Donations can be made by cash, check or Venmo.

PLEASE NOTE: We have two donation boxes at the flower cottage. NYS Department of Taxation has stated that all donations made for flowers are taxable. Therefore we have a donation box for the sale of flowers. SOG pays 8% from revenue received for flowers. The box labeled “SOG Donations,” are monetary gifts to our not-for-profit from our guests in appreciation for creating and maintaining this community organization. NOT TAXABLE! It you make a large donation by check, if you request, we are happy to mail you a tax deduction certificate. Please make payable to Saugerties Organic Gardens.

This year we will also be opening in April with over 2,000 tulips for you to pick and take home. The tulip gardens will be in the back in our large community garden, protected from the deer that also love tulips. We plan to be open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays the month of April between 10am and 4pm. If weather is questionable, please call or text Mark @ 845-399-5137.
